Siri Shortcut

Save ideas hands-free. Say "Hey Siri, Robin idea" and dictate. No browser needed.

Setup (one-time, ~2 min)

1. Go to Account tab in Robin and tap Generate API Key. Copy it.
2. Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone.
3. Tap + at the top-right to create a new shortcut.
4. Tap the name at the top and rename it to Robin idea.
5. Search for and add Dictate Text. Leave "Stop Listening" as After Pause.
6. Search for and add Get Contents of URL, then configure it:
   • Tap the URL field and type: https://robin.tourismtribe.ai/api/ideas
   • Tap Method and change it to POST
   • Tap Headers to expand, then tap Add new header:
     Key: Authorization
     Value: Bearer then paste your API key
   • Tap Request Body and change it to JSON
   • Tap Add new field → Text:
     Key: text
     Value: tap and select the Dictated Text variable (blue pill from step 5)
7. Search for and add Show Notification. Type Idea saved! as the message.
8. Tap Done to save the shortcut.

Tip: Tap the ▶ play button at the bottom of Shortcuts to test it.

Add to Home Screen

First, save this icon to your phone:

1. In your Shortcuts list, long-press the … three dots on your shortcut.
2. Tap Details.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap the image, tap Choose File, and select the icon you downloaded above. Tap Add.
5. Tap the blue tick to confirm.
6. Long-press the … three dots again, tap Rename, and call it Robin idea. Tap Done.

Now say "Hey Siri, Robin idea". Your idea will be automatically captured. You'll also see the Robin icon on your Home Screen to tap and start a voice recording.
